what’s with all these creepers lately?

Hey thank you for this amazing answer :) (I'm the anonymous questioner :))
We can be twin or something because I really want to study at art history or literature.Actually I'm studying Law but I'm interested to art. I want to study in New York maybe a summer school or something like that. But housing and the cost of living is scares me. Btw your photos are amazing and you're right about New York inspires people a lot and I wanna be part of this city. asked by pyjamasandchocolate

I was actually thinking of law as an option too!  Yeah, I was going to write about the crazy costs of living in the city, but I forgot.  I never thought I’d attend school in NYC, least of all be able to afford it, but I got some scholarship money and that made it possible, so you never know….  Definitely try to get a summer internship here though or just visit for fun — it is amazing in the summer!  Thanks for the questions and keep them coming if you have more :D

Living and studying New York is my dream too. Please tell us more story about it :) You're so lucky!!! asked by Anonymous

Studying in New York has been an awesome experience and I’m very thankful for it.  I’m a first year student (school ends in 11 days woo hoo!) at NYU and it has been amazing!  I’m from Berkeley, CA so moving to the east coast was really scary and different, but I love it here.  I love the sense of independence I have and NYU doesn’t have a traditional college campus so I feel like I truly live here.

NYC is just awesome — the culture, diversity, and quirkiness of it.  I love the village and I love how I can just take random walks around Manhattan and see cool, different things each time.  I’m no professional photographer, but photography has become a hobby of mine because this city is crazy and amazing. I’m an art history student so NYC has great resources and in my opinion is the best place to study art history.

Feel free to ask me more questions about living here.  I wasn’t very specific, but if there’s something you’d especially like to know about, feel free to ask. :D

this is what the longest strawberry shortcake (in NY state) looks like:

So I spotted Julian Casablancas today…

…as I was walking down University Place.  I saw him from a distance and thought, “Gee, that looks like Julian.”  And as he walked past me with his wife, who was pushing their son in a stroller, I realized it WAS HIM.  I just stared.  He sorta looked at me, probably realizing that I was staring at him because I recognized him.  He was super tall and wearing these really cool neon yellow shoes.

It was a really good day today.

So this is sorta AMAZING:

These tributes to Colbert (in Andy Warhol style) have been popping up all over Manhattan lately.  This particular one was on West 4th (right next to NYU’s Kimmel Building).

YES YOU WILL GET PREGNANT. AND YOU WILL DIE.

Actually, I have no idea.  Why not ask someone professional instead of a college student on tumblr?

** Edit: I re-read this question and I think its a guy talking about being a male prostitute and his condom breaking?? No idea.

Oh, thanks.  I wasn’t sure what that was.  I’ll edit the post.
